I bought this tool to service the valves on my classic Triumph overhead cam engines, namely the TR7, Stag and Dolomite Sprint. An OHC engine needs a tool that will reach well down into the tappet bore to compress the valve springs. This tool worked beautifully, and it would work just as well on pushrod engines also.
